Does the app require an internet connection?

Yes for AI-generated interpretations. The Hexagram Library and previously cached readings remain available offline.

Where is my data stored?

Your readings and cached AI responses stay locally on your device — we do not store your questions on our server, sell your data, or use it for advertising. The one exception is an AI content report you choose to submit, which we keep for up to 60 days. See our Privacy Policy.

What AI service powers the interpretations?

DeepSeek, accessed through a secure self-hosted proxy at api.xansmagicapps.com.

Is this app a mental health or medical service?

No. Sentient I Ching is a reflective guidance tool for entertainment, study, and personal insight. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice.

An AI response seems off or wrong. What can I do?

AI responses are a prompt for reflection, not a final authority — try rephrasing your question or casting again. To flag a problematic response, use the report control beneath the interpretation, or email us.

How do I delete my data?

Your readings and settings live only on your device — clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall to remove them. To delete an AI content report you submitted, email support.

How do I manage or restore premium access?

Monthly subscriptions are managed through Google Play: open the Play Store, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select Sentient I Ching. The app also supports lifetime premium access. To restore an existing subscription or lifetime purchase, use Restore Premium Access in the app with the same Google Play account.
